When applying to ARMBRUSTER, you should submit the following documents.

For a regular position:

  • Personal cover letter: Explain your motivation and why you want to become part of our team.
  • Curriculum vitae: Overview of your experience, qualifications and skills.
  • References: Relevant references, attestations and certificates.

For an apprenticeship position:

  • Curriculum vitae: Provide a clear overview of your educational background and all previous practical experience, such as internships, part-time jobs or voluntary work. This will give us a good picture of your skills and interests.

  • School reports: Please provide your last two school reports so that we can better assess your academic background and performance.

  • Certificates/attestations: If available, for example, internship certificates or other qualifications.

If you don’t have all the necessary documents to hand, don’t worry: as a first step, your CV is sufficient; you can submit the rest later. We look forward to receiving your application!

Your cover letter is your opportunity to convince us of your motivation and qualifications. Here are a few tips on how to structure it:

  1. Introduction: Start with a short paragraph expressing your interest in the advertised position. Please mention the position you are interested in and how you came across the advertisement.
  2. Motivation: Explain why you are interested in this position and what appeals to you about ARMBRUSTER as an employer. We would be delighted if you can identify with our values and goals.
  3. Qualifications: Highlight your strengths and back them up with specific examples from your previous professional experience or education. This will give us a better impression of your skills and suitability for the position.
  4. Salary expectations: If requested in the job advertisement, please also state your salary expectations in your cover letter.
  5. Conclusion: Keep the cover letter short and concise, as the personal impression is crucial for us. We look forward to seeing your individual touch!

In your tabular CV, you present all relevant information about your career in a clear and structured manner. This includes your academic and training qualifications as well as your school achievements, which you present in a complete and comprehensible manner.

Relevant practical activities, such as internships or holiday jobs, as well as further training, should also be included in your CV, if applicable.

Don’t forget to list your leisure activities and commitments, such as club activities, as they demonstrate your diverse interests and skills.

It is also important to highlight your IT skills and other abilities that could be relevant to the position you are applying for.

To be optimally prepared for your interview, you can find out more about us as a company and our corporate culture through various channels.

For example, visit our Instagram channel to get a personal impression of us and learn more about how we work and our team. In addition, our website offers a wealth of information about our services, technologies and projects, as well as our corporate values.

Good preparation not only helps you answer specific questions, but also shows your interest and commitment to the position. This allows you to come across as authentic in the interview and emphasise your motivation!

The duration of our interviews depends on many different factors. We will not watch the clock during stimulating conversations in which we get to know each other and clarify any open questions.

However, you should generally plan on spending between one and one and a half hours for your interview. If you have important follow-up appointments, please let us know in advance so that we can ensure that the interview ends on time.

That depends entirely on your personality and the position you are applying for. What matters most to us is what you have to offer, and we don’t place too much emphasis on a strict dress code – our everyday working style is casual.

Nevertheless, think about how you would dress for the position in question: project managers or sales representatives often have a lot of contact with customers, while milling machine operators mainly work in production. It is important that you feel comfortable in your clothes, because then you can give your best!

Who exactly will be attending your interview depends on the position and the job. In any case, the manager responsible for hiring will be present. An employee from the HR department will also be there. Before the interview, you will receive detailed information about who will be conducting the interview so that you can prepare yourself well.

Don’t worry if it didn’t work out this time! You can always apply for other positions with us or try again after a while. Just explain in your new application why you are the right person for the job and tell us why you want to try again. We appreciate your interest and determination!

At ARMBRUSTER, we focus on a diverse range of topics and exciting, long-term tasks that are at the heart of the economy. Our comprehensive personnel development concept offers numerous opportunities for personal development. We also attach great importance to work-life balance and have established a well-thought-out occupational health management system.

We are proud of our wide range of social benefits, but what is most important to us is mutual appreciation, an open and friendly working atmosphere and the promotion of creative ideas. You can discover further advantages in our Benefits section.
